The XPoint Wireless Bridge provides a link between an XPoint Wireless network and SensorView to enable monitoring and configuration of wireless devices on the network.
In addition, the XPoint Wireless Bridge communicates with an nLight Gateway (nGWY2) to support system-wide controls such as scheduling, system profiles, master overrides, and BMS integration. The XPoint Wireless Bridge communicates with SensorView and/or an nLight backbone over a local area network (LAN) and presents itself as a bridge device with one or multiple virtual bridge ports that support up to 250 total associated XPoint Wireless devices per bridge. Virtual bridge ports, which are associated with XPoint Wireless luminaires and devices via SensorView, provide a simple interface for organizing device locations and configuring zone behavior.
The XPoint Wireless Bridge is required for XPoint Wireless controls systems. The XPoint Wireless Bridge manages XPoint Wireless network, provides a way to connect to XPoint Wireless devices through the SensorView Commissioning tool, and it can provide a link to the nLight backbone.
