Lighting Controls
Lighting controls help reduce energy usage by only lighting spaces when spaces are occupied. Embedded lighting controls can reduce energy use by up to 63%* while streamlining design and minimizing ceiling clutter. The MLX luminaire offers two embedded lighting control options:

Can I order continuous rows?
Yes, order your luminaire type with the CRE (continuous row end) or CRM (continuous row middle) option on the spec sheet. You must also order the MLXCRJ bracket in the accessory section. -
How many fixtures can I run in a row?
Depending on your commercial breaker, you can run up to 200ft. -
How do I order an MLX with uplight?
All MLX luminaires come standard with uplight when ordering MD distribution. Wedge 8.6%, Round 10.6%, Square 16.7%. -
Do I need to open the MLX fixture to install it?
No, to install a single fixture you do not need to open the fixture. You can use the access plate to connect power to the fixture. -
Does MLX have surge protection?
MLX comes standard with 2.5kV and has an option for 6.5kV. -
Does MLX have Emergency battery options?
Yes, MLX has a 10W, 15W, STAR self-diagnostic battery technology and a generator transfer device. -
Can I order the end cap without the Lithonia Logo?
Yes, we have a NLG option on the spec sheet to remove Lithonia Lighting® logo. -
Is MLX IP5X rated?
Yes, MLX has an IP5X option for lens assembly. -
How can I mount MLX?
Suspended with AC cables. Truss mounted with THMLX, and T-Grid with TGRDBKT. -
Does MLX have different finish options?
Yes, you can choose from white, matte black and natural aluminum. -
What is the temperature rating for MLX linear low bay?
Up to 50C. Please reference spec sheet temperature chart on page 3.
