Street Lighting

For higher education street lighting, use lighting with longer distributions to minimize the number of luminaires necessary. This will reduce the conflict of the lighting with the natural environment. Additionally, consider luminaires that with lower BUG ratings to minimize light pollution. Pair luminaires with photocell controls to turn on the lights only when they are needed.
