Medical Benefit Plans: Acuity Brands offers healthcare plans through United Healthcare. Plans do not have any co-payments and a deductible and coinsurance apply to all covered services. All preventative care is covered at 100%.
Prescription Coverage: Coverage is available if you enroll in a United Healthcare plan offered by Acuity Brands through Express Scripts.
Dental: Acuity Brands offers dental plans through MetLife which covers routine care, basic and major services as well as orthodontia for adults and children (depending on plan).
Vision: Vision coverage is offered by Eyemed which covers eye exams yearly, frames every two years and lenses or contact lenses every year.
Your Financial Security
Basic Life and AD&D: Company paid benefit; Acuity Brands provides 2x your annual salary in Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance. Supplemental Life and AD&D are available to you, your spouse/domestic partner, or children. You can also elect additional AD&D coverage for yourself and your eligible dependents through the Voluntary Accidental Death and Dismemberment program.
Short Term Disability: Company paid benefit; Acuity Brands provides you with 100% Short Term Disability (STD) coverage for 13 weeks.
Long Term Disability: Company provides 40% of your annual salary at no cost to you. You have the option to elect an additional 20% coverage if desired.
401(k): Acuity Brands will match 60% of your first 6% into the plan. Acuity Brands partners with Merrill Lynch for this benefit.
Note: All new hires are automatically enrolled in the Acuity Brands 401(k) Plan at a 3% contribution rate.
Tuition Reimbursement: $5,250 per eligible year after 180 days of service and full-time employment.
