Acuity Brands Supports Title 20

Title 20 is a California regulation that aims to reduce energy consumption in appliances, including metal halide luminaires. Under an expansion of the original regulations, luminaires using metal halide lamps of 150-500 watts must adhere to strict energy requirements. All luminaires sold or shipped to California beginning January 1, 2010, are subject to these restrictions. Acuity Brands Lighting is committed to energy conservation and 100% compliance to federal and state legislation. All applicable products sold or shipped to California after January 1, 2010, will meet Title 20 requirements.
